A quick recap and chronology of the event ( by Kumar )
1. Event started at about 6pm with socializing and I believe it was an
avenue for all to catchup with each other.
2. At about 7:20pm we started the MC taking the floor brought us thru a
lot memories with En. Yaacob.
3. Zafawi did a short prayers (bacaan doa)
4. ANG did a TOAST and kickoff the dinner session
5. We played the video which we captured during the socializing session
but unfortunately the sound system was not working so we would try to burn
into CD or post online
6. We had a surprise birthday celebration for yaacob, he cut the cake
with a samurai
7. Siti handed over a birthday gift to yaacob
8. For some unknown reason the organizing team told me to give a speech
, I share about some of the info I knew about yaacob and my experience with
yaacob.
9. I invited all XISD staff to stage and read a POEM (attached) which
was dedicated to him.
10. Then there was a simple game conducted by ISD member (RAHMAT) and
the VIP table won the game
11. Prize handed over by Khairi
12. At about 915, Hisham gave a wonderful speech again relating his
experience with yaacob and called all ISD members to standup and dedicated a
POEM to yaacob. Best part was towards the end of the POEM, all the ISD staff
SALUTE to our HERO.
13. I then conducted a Quest game and Hisham's table won the game
14. Prize handed over by huzaimi
15. We had 2 phone calls to relay their message personally to En. Yaacob
16. Mrs Yaacob gave a short special , he was accompanied by yaacob and
made an intro of how he met mrs. Yaacob.
17. We then played a 10 minutes flash presentation "Down the Memory
Lane" recap his 35 years in PANASONIC
18. Finally En. Yaacob gave his speech - really a good one. Key point he
suggested to have a reunion at least once a year. I strongly agree and would
work towards it.
19. Rozaimah then handed over the OUR GIFT to en. Yaacob (An Executive
BAG),
20. And after that Durai and Zuhir was making arrangement for photo
session and this time we had 5 different session
a. All guys with mr&mrs yaacob
b. All gals with mr&mrs yaacob
c. All attended with mr&mrs yaacob
d. All ISD mr&mrs yaacob
e. All XISD with mr&mrs yaacob
21. Finally the event was closed by Rajeen with a thank you note
22. After the event all of us lined up to wish Mr.&Mrs. Yaacob, bye .
During that time, En Yaacob gave us a surprise, where he presenting us a

23. That was about 10:45pm. But most of them were still mingling around
with each other (another socializing session) till 11:30pm.
24. As usual there was another group already start planning the next
activity - headed by shanker, ang, ng and obviously myself.
25. Finally we ended up at the Sheraton Lounge where it was fun again
(FULL MUHIBAH & UNISEX participation). This session lasted till 2:45am.
26. I reached home around 3am.
